At first glance, Stuart Ashley looks like any other down-on-his-luck 50-something. His family has grown up, his seemingly happy marriage with Zoe is starting to fall apart, and he has just been made redundant at the local electrical generator plant. Perhaps that was part of his problem though; Stuart had always viewed the world through a different lens to others. He was a gifted engineer and his compulsive/obsessive personality produced a deep understanding of machines and their associated science. However, it was those same skills that would prove to be life-changing when he encounters a strange phenomenon in his workshop. A spanner he drops floats in mid-air; Stuart’s stunned brain is sent into overdrive to figure out how such a break in natural physics could be possible. He is obsessed with figuring out how and why this freak event happened, and supported by his friend Rob, they embark on a journey of discovery encountering dangerous unknown forces. He finally builds a new hypothesis; gravity is not singular but a composition of forces interactingwithin the cosmos. Importantly, the experimental work enables Stuart to harness and control gravitational energy. This radical breakthrough in science could propel current technology 100 years into the future. That is if anyone believes him. Stuart takes dangerous risks to prove his discovery and finally gains recognition by Government and the scientific community but finds his problems are just starting. His naïve altruism is met by self-interest and protectionism across the globe; moreover, his life is under threat. What started out as an obsessive experiment in a cramped workshop is changing the world forever, but will it be for the better?
