I have been in the nursing field for thirty years and have seen the same hopes, dreams, fears, and sense of humor across every culture and race. This book is a collection of poems I started writing mostly while at work in the emergency room between caring for patients. Poetry touches us all in different ways. Poetry is a connection of feelings expressed to remind people we are not alone in our journey. They show hope, love, sadness, and dreams.
