Дезинфекция воды - важный процесс и задача в борьбе с болезнями, причем это касается не только питьевой воды, пригодной для употребления человеком, но и воды, используемой для непитьевых целей. Целью данной книги является разработка замкнутой автоматизированной системы дозирования для обеззараживания дождевой воды для непитьевого потребления с использованием гипохлорита натрия в качестве дезинфицирующего средства. Прототип был разработан с использованием микроконтроллера, перистальтического насоса, 5-вольтового реле, дисплея, а также датчика уровня гипохлорита натрия и датчика дождевой воды, последний из которых используется для контроля дискретного объема этой жидкости. Во время калибровочных испытаний прототип показал отличные результаты, обеспечив синхронизацию между всеми задействованными устройствами. После прочтения этой книги стало ясно, что возможно обеспечить дезинфекцию дождевой воды для непитьевых целей, доступную для любого населения, используя гипохлорит натрия автоматизированным и недорогим способом, уничтожая патогенные микроорганизмы, присутствующие в этом типе воды.
