До начала учебной сессии 2011-12 гг. в институте не существовало официальной системы оценки, и в конце каждой учебной сессии все преподаватели и сотрудники получали единую прибавку к зарплате. В данном случае рассматривается ситуация, когда, несмотря на введение процесса оценки эффективности работы в 2012-13 учебном году, всем преподавателям и сотрудникам было объявлено о единой надбавке, которая была ниже, чем в предыдущем году, под предлогом того, что число принятых на следующую учебную сессию было очень низким. Преподаватели и сотрудники оказались перед дилеммой: продолжать ли работать в такой организации, где отсутствие официальной системы оценки препятствует их карьерному росту, или подождать еще год, пока ситуация не изменится. В конце кейса приведены вопросы, которые можно использовать для обсуждения со студентами в аудитории. В конце кейса имеется методическое пособие для преподавателей.
