Nita’s Nibbles celebrates the joy of sustainable cooking and healthy living, a journey that can significantly enhance one’s overall well-being. This book is a gateway to a world of flavors, textures, and tastes, elevating one’s cooking experiences in the kitchen. I’m excited to share these quick, easy, and fun dishes with you, and I’m confident that you’ll find them as delightful and inspiring as I do. My dad’s words of wisdom, ’Nothing Is To Be Wasted,’ have become my mantra, leading me to incorporate my ’Kitchen Sink’ concept into my cooking. Throughout the book, I will provide some ’Kitchen Sink’ suggestions for some recipes. Using practical tips, your creativity, choice of herbs and spices, and some ingredients you may already have in your kitchen will help you reduce food waste and learn how to minimize the impact on the landfills and Mother Earth, making your cooking more sustainable and enjoyable. My cookbook is unconventional because it starts with beverages and sweets before the main meals. I prefer to enjoy my beverages separately from my meals and, on most occasions, indulge in a small portion of sweets before my meal. It’s a delightful way to start a meal, don’t you think? Why not have a little fun first?! Let’s have some fun! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your unwavering commitment to making a positive difference for your family and the world. Your efforts, no matter how small, are invaluable and greatly appreciated. It’s because of people like you that we can create a healthier, more sustainable future. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and I am truly grateful for your support.
