Marty G Hogen grew up in Western America where he developed a great love for the outdoors and feels as at home in nature as in his living room. Growing up in a rural setting and spending summers working on ranches, he grew a strong work ethic and learned early the value of hard work and integrity. Marty is an author, teacher, actor and pastor. He has served as Senior and Associate Pastor and has traveled extensively as a missionary and actor, performing on stages before more than 3 million people over his lifetime. Marty’s experience and imagination provides a vast collection of stories waiting to be told and his acting experience makes him an entertaining storyteller.Marty and his wife, Deborah, have traveled and lived in numerous places around the U.S and Europe, always gleaning from the lifestyles of those around them, seeking the unique stories from people they meet and places they observe. They both love the rich history of the Westward Expansion and the art, music, and literature, which it produced. They often collaborate when writing books, plays, and musicals, which they produce, preferably with young people at churches, schools and camps. For the past 30 years they have ministered with a traveling drama ministry: Cross Purpose Productions, visually illustrating the Word of God.Discipleship is Marty’s very heart. He has steadfast confidence in the Body of Christ and knows that the greatest hope for the future lies in our investment in our young people.
