Problemy psychospołeczne i jakość życia stanowią ważny aspekt ludzkiej egzystencji, a zagadnienia te są przedmiotem szczególnego zainteresowania w badaniach dotyczących osób, u których zdiagnozowano niepełnosprawność ortopedyczną. Badania te przeprowadzono w różnych ośrodkach rehabilitacyjnych w Hyderabadzie, takich jak Sweekaar Rehabilitation Institute for Handicapped oraz National Institute for Mentally Handicapped, w latach 2010-2011. Książka „Problemy psychospołeczne i jakość życia osób z niepełnosprawnością ortopedyczną' pomaga w utrzymaniu i zapewnieniu stabilności jakości życia osób, u których zdiagnozowano tę niepełnosprawność. Książka składa się z pięciu rozdziałów wraz z bibliografią; szczegółowo wyjaśnia różne problemy psychospołeczne oraz jakość życia osób z niepełnosprawnością ortopedyczną. Zastosowano porównawczy projekt eksperymentalny z grupą osób z niepełnosprawnością wrodzoną i nabytą. Grupa osób z niepełnosprawnością wrodzoną ma gorszą jakość życia, zwłaszcza w dwóch obszarach, a mianowicie w relacjach społecznych i środowisku; poza tymi obszarami obie grupy borykają się z podobnymi problemami psychospołecznymi. Autor pracował również jako psycholog rehabilitacyjny w Srujan Psychotherapy and Counselling Center w stanie Maharashtra.
