New Every Morning is a 90-day devotional built on a single conviction: your life is a reflection of what you believe, and belief changes not through information alone, but through what you return to, morning after morning, until it becomes something you live rather than something you merely hold. Most people didn’t choose their most destructive thoughts. They inherited them, from an old wound, a season of failure, or a voice that never quite stopped echoing. Over time those thoughts wear a groove, and a person can end up living inside beliefs they never actually chose. Scripture offers a different way: 'Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.' This devotional is built entirely around that promise, working slowly and deliberately through the steady repetition of what is actually true. Each of the ninety days follows the same simple rhythm: Today’s Meditation - a short reflection that opens with something ordinary, such as a sunrise, a worn trail through a field, or a low doorway, and leads into a passage of Scripture Pray These Truths - eight short prayers rooted in God’s Word and written in the first person, meant to be spoken aloud Pause and Listen - two questions to sit with rather than rush past A Prayer for Today - words for the mornings when a reader’s own don’t come easily Carry This With You - one closing line meant to travel past the page and into the rest of the day The ninety days move through four parts that build on one another: Knowing God, My Identity in Christ, Walking with God, and Living for Christ. The structure is deliberate. A reader cannot walk faithfully with a God they do not yet know, and cannot live out an identity they have not yet received. Every prayer in the book is anchored to the Scripture passage it comes from, so the devotional keeps pointing readers back to the Bible itself rather than standing in for it. There is no reward for finishing quickly and no penalty for lingering on a single day. The book is written for the reader who wants a morning practice that is unhurried, who is tired of striving to earn what has already been given, and who wants to move past reading about faith into actually living it, one ordinary day at a time. New Every Morning is written by Foster Moore, who writes about the quiet, ordinary work of walking with God.
