When a male elf reaches his 16th birthday he is given a great banquet and then, at midnight, he is presented to the Circle of Elders for the Empowerment Ceremony. The young elf is given tools and gifts of great knowledge to assist and protect him on his quest into the world of humans. He is tasked to (as anonymously as possible) teach us by example the true value of tolerance, loyalty, trust and love.
