Nature Tales is a volume of eight color illustrated short stories for children. The first story is Snow Pony. This is a story of how Snow Pony’s best friend gets lost in the middle of winter. Snow Pony does not give up until he finds his best friend and brings her home safely. The second story is Silly Squirrel. Silly is always doing things without thinking about the consequences. Silly ends up in a precarious situation that is difficult to get out of. The third story is Hungry Bunny. Hungry is different from most bunnies and this story is about how he adapts to being different. The fourth story is Dashy Dolphin. Dashy is very confident and takes chances that lead him into trouble. He learns a valuable lesson when he gets lost and cannot find his way back home. The fifth story is Dynna Duck. Dynna has a secret that she confides to her best friend. Her best friend helps her to solve her problem through trust and friendship. The sixth story is Chatty Chipmunk. Chatty is too busy chattering to listen to what is going on around him. This causes him some unexpected problems and he learns how important it is to be aware of his surroundings. The seventh story is Bumbly Bear. Bumbly has a favorite occupation that causes his friends to avoid him. Bumbly learns to compromise in order to have friends. The eighth story is Bossy Foxy. Bossy always wants everything his way and learns that being bossy is not what friendship is about.
