All facets of dental practice are being influenced by new research and technology, which has altered how many traditional procedures-including preventive, risk assessment, and diagnosis-are done. The application of nanotechnology in dentistry is having a significant impact on how health is improved, diseases are identified, and how natural resources are used. By enhancing currently used clinical systems with the aid of nanostructures like nanoparticles, nanotubes, nanorods, quantum dots, dendrimers, nanospheres, nanofibers, etc., nanotechnology has the biggest impact on restorative dentistry. The pathophysiologic underpinnings of disease are better understood because to nanotechnology, which also refines diagnostics and produces more effective therapeutic and preventive effects.
