Sono stati preparati nuovi nanocompositi PCN e f-PCN mediante la miscelazione di PC/PMMA/PS e MWCNT e MWCNT funzionalizzati con HNO3 e H2SO4 (f-MWCNT). I nuovi nanocompositi preparati, il polimero puro e la miscela polimerica (PC/PMMA/PS) sono stati caratterizzati mediante FTIR, proprietà meccaniche ed elettriche. Non si sono verificati cambiamenti osservabili nell’FTIR di PC/PMMA/PS rispetto a PCN e f-PCN a causa dell’aggiunta di quantità minime di MWCNT e f-MWCNT, rispettivamente 0,1% in peso e 0,3% in peso. Il modulo della miscela PC/PMMA/PS è diminuito dove il modulo era elevato con lo 0,1% in peso utilizzando un tempo di ciclo di 10 minuti a 270 °C per i PCN e un tempo di ciclo di 5 minuti per gli f-PCN.
