Fitaihi graduated from Boston College with a BS in finance in 1998, graduated from Harvard University with a master’s in public policy (MPP) from the Kennedy School of Government in 2003, and graduated from the University of London in 2008 with an MS in international politics. He worked as an advisor to the Mayor of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, advisor to the Minister of Labor in Saudi Arabia, and advisor to the Minister of Economy and Planning in Saudi Arabia. He currently holds the position of director of the International Medical Center’s Academy (one of the premier hospitals in the Middle East). The author also enjoys chess and martial arts.
