В книге рассматриваются концептуальные аспекты языка, литературы, культуры и их влияние на современные проблемы в социокультурной среде Нигерии. Конкретной целью было обсуждение симбиотических отношений между языком, культурой и литературой с акцентом на коррупцию. Статья определила коррупцию как одну из основных современных проблем в Нигерии и утверждала, что коррупция увековечена этнолингвистической солидарностью, принятием английского языка и его культуры. В статье утверждается, что лингвистическое и культурное разнообразие, внедрение английского языка и его культуры оказывают подавляющее влияние на коррупцию в Нигерии. Поэтому в данной работе критически рассмотрена коррупционная практика в Нигерии, основанная на языке и этнической принадлежности. В работе рекомендованы умеренность в нашей языковой и этнической принадлежности и этическая переориентация, среди прочего, для смягчения наших коррупционных тенденций. В работе сделан вывод о том, что вопросы национального языка Нигерии должны решаться со всей искренностью, культурные нормы и ценности Нигерии должны быть восстановлены для усиления позитивных изменений в социально-культурной жизни нигерийцев.
