С ростом числа случаев хронического гепатита С эти инфекции стали причиной для беспокойства. Задачи: оценить и повысить уровень знаний медсестер о гепатите С и помочь улучшить ведение пациентов с хроническим гепатитом С. Материалы и методы: описательное исследование, направленное на медсестер, работающих в больнице Габес. Опрос проводился в феврале и марте 2023 года.Результаты: В исследование были включены 80 медсестер, соотношение полов составило 0,56. Половину опрошенных (52%) составили женщины. Половина опрошенных (52 %) не имела предыдущей подготовки по гепатиту С. Большинство медсестер заявили, что возбудителем заболевания является вирус. Что касается профилактических практик, то большинство медсестер соблюдали правила мытья рук (86 %), ношения перчаток (82 %) и масок (66 %), а также не использовали иглы повторно (86 %). Однако наблюдался недостаток знаний о лечении (62 %), что подтверждает, что медсестры недостаточно знают о некоторых деталях, требующих повышения осведомленности и обучения для улучшения ухода.
