В этой книге собраны три статьи, которые, несмотря на разные форматы, посвящены переводу. В первой из них оцениваются лексически креативные элементы в испанских переводах романа Жоана Гимарайнша Розы 'Grande Sertão: Veredas', а именно решения, найденные переводчиками в отношении несловарных терминов испанского языка, таких как yagunzo и sertón, с точки зрения культуры. Исследование опирается на теоретические размышления Валентина Гарсии Йебры о переводе, а также на лингвистические и переводческие теории Антуана Бермана и Жоржа Мунена. Кроме того, в статью внесен вклад в исследование, проведенное профессором Вальнисом Ногейра Гальвао в книге 'Формы ложного', а также свидетельства самой Розы, записанные Гюнтером Лоренцем. Во второй части анализируется, как были решены определенные трудности, с которыми столкнулись переводчики при переводе на испанский язык книги Жоана Гимарайнша Розы 'Grande Sertão: Veredas' (1956), с учетом особенностей стиля автора, в частности использования сослагательного наклонения и синтаксиса.
