In dieser Arbeit werden Mythos und Musik grundsätzlich als Einheit betrachtet. Der Mythos ist die Grundlage für die Entstehung und Entwicklung der Musik. Die Musik ist ein Mittel zum Ausdruck und zur Transformation des Mythos. Sie ist ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil des menschlichen Lebens, eine spezifische Form der Weltwahrnehmung und des Weltverständnisses. Ihre Wechselbeziehung und Einheit tragen zu ständigen dynamischen Transformationen und Bereicherungen der Kultur bei. Mythos und Musik stehen in direktem Zusammenhang mit suggestiven und manipulativen Techniken. Sie dominieren im Bereich des Irrationalen, appellieren an tiefe Faktoren der menschlichen Psyche, haben eine archetypische Grundlage und bestimmen ideell und emotional die Weltanschauung und das Verhalten des Menschen und der Gesellschaft. In der Studie werden drei Hauptstrategien der suggestiven und manipulativen Beeinflussung herausgearbeitet: Kontrast (binäre archetypische Opposition), Wiederholung (Variabilität des archetypischen Modells) und Appell an die Emotionen (Universalität und Unmittelbarkeit). Als illustratives Material wird das kreative - philosophisch-theoretische und musikalisch-praktische - Erbe von R. Wagner verwendet, das neue Facetten und Perspektiven für die weitere Erforschung des Problems der Manipulation des Massenbewusstseins eröffnet.
