Mythical - Shadowed Redemption

A wounded exile. A guarded warrior. A forbidden connection that could fracture two worlds.Ezekiel has been surviving on borrowed time for years. Exiled from his people, hunted by his past, and burdened by a crime he can never undo, he lives by instinct alone-until a brutal trap leaves him bleeding out in forbidden Elven territory. Death seems inevitable.Instead, he meets Jenilia. She is everything he is not: disciplined, lethal, bound by ancient laws that leave no room for mercy. As a warrior of the mythical orders, Jenilia has been trained to see humans as liabilities at best-and enemies at worst. Letting Ezekiel live violates duty, logic, and tradition. And yet, she does. What follows is not a rescue, but an uneasy journey through rain-soaked forests, border towns heavy with secrets, and lands where truth itself is dangerous. Ezekiel is forced to rely on the very being who could end his life with a single command. Jenilia, in turn, must confront the growing realisation that the man she spared is not what her people taught her to expect. As they travel together, something fragile begins to form in the quiet spaces between them-shared firelight, unspoken understanding, and the slow unravelling of walls built from pain and loyalty. But theirs is a world where language punishes lies, where war stirs beneath fragile peace, and where a connection between human and mythical being is more than forbidden-it’s destabilising.Ezekiel carries secrets that could cost him his life if spoken aloud. Jenilia carries truths that could brand her a traitor. With enemies watching from the shadows and ancient powers tightening their grip, every step forward heightens the risk-not just to themselves, but to the balance that holds their world together.Mythical is a genre‑bending New Adult fantasy that blends slow‑burn romance, emotional intimacy, and high‑stakes political tension. It’s a story about survival, forbidden connection, and the dangerous hope that sometimes blooms between two people who were never meant to trust each other-let alone care.Perfect for readers who crave fantasy with heart, romance with restraint, and characters who grow through pain, choice, and defiance.
