Since I was a little girl, I enjoyed reading because my mom used to read to me and my brother every night. We looked forward to story time with our mum because we loved her stories, even the ’made up’ ones were absolutely wonderful. Thank you, mom!When I was eight, my family and I moved to India because of my dad’s new job. I was excited because India is where most of my cousins and my extended family lives.Soon after we felt settled in India, COVID-19 hit our country, and most of us were forced into a ’Lockdown.’ It was definitely very hard for all of us, but we soon adapted to the lockdown. The year 2020 was particularly bad for me because I was also diagnosed with COVID-19. The good news is that I soon recovered. With nothing much to do during the lockdown, I became interested in writing. My dad played a huge role in encouraging me to write. He guided me in putting my thoughts together for this book. I love my dad, and am grateful to my mother for ’pushing’ me to finish this book and helping me to publish it. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I had fun writing it.
