My womb is an artist is a collection of poems that contains in verses emotions and desires of an author who wants to express the very essence of existence, of coming into the world, living creating and healing. The compositions explore the womb seen in its various facets: element of pleasure, means and instrument for the joy of birth, maternal element and a deeply feminine sanctuary. The search for love, healing and peace infuses the writing.Every reading plunges us into a whirlwind of emotions almost without space and time, through metaphors and rhetorical figures that can give us back the meaning of life as understood by the author: sense of freedom, of belonging and grace. Céline Cervi was born in France in 1973. She holds both the French and Maltese nationalities. After training as a political scientist in Aix-en-Provence, Paris, Exeter and Bruges, she specialised in European Affairs. She has worked for the EU, the UN, international NGOs, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, and has been volunteering on many fronts. Céline has lived in Brussels, New York, Valletta, Manila, Ankara and Skopje. She is also a Kundalini Yoga teacher (with spiritual name Angad Bani Kaur), a Reiki master and she writes poetry. She is a peace-seeker, knowing all too well that Peace starts within. She is inspired by the books she reads, the healers she meets and all the women she is blessed to call her sisters. Céline speaks French and English, some Spanish and Turkish.

The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
