Trying to justify his actions, he becomes enthralled in a 25 year battle with the Veterans Administration in an effort to be classified as a 100% service connected Vietnam Veteran as a result of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. As his life comes to a close, Joseph makes peace with GOD as to why he has gone through this painful journey to find his way back. Trying to make amends to those he has hurt before he dies, Joseph’s story is one that many soldiers that fight for their country face today. Adjusting to life beyond being a soldier and dealing with the scars of war has lasting and lingering effects.
