The very old photos in. the book are fascinating.About the Author: This book is written by Anil Chowdhry IPS (Retd). He served for about 40 years as a police officer and Intelligence operative in far flung areas like Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Goa, Daman & Diu Allahabad, Varanasi, Lucknow, Kashmir and Delhi. He also served as a Senior Diplomat in our Embassy in Washington D C. He retired as Secretary, Internal Security in MHA. Was re-employed as a Senior Adviser in PMO and Security Advisor to the Commonwealth Games 2010. Now 78 years old lives with his ex- teacher Wife in South Delhi maintaining a close bond with his family and old friends living in India and abroad. He is an active member of a Think Tank which strives to inculcate ethical standards of governance to deliver services to the citizens. Pursuing his childhood hobby of gardening. Also follows daily exercise routine, tries to keep his neighborhood, clean and secure.
