Life is unpredictable, full of ups and downs, fortune or misfortune. Yet no matter how life changes, the gateways to happiness are always open. I am an ordinary Chinese woman, yet I have experienced vicissitudes of different lives in China, Japan and the U.S. I have tasted the sweetness, bitterness, sourness, and spiciness of life. For love, I gave up my full professorship with tenure in Japan and came to the U.S. to live a simple but happy life. However, my love was suddenly relentlessly taken away. Yet I miraculously recovered and regained happiness. Now I am immersed in the light of happiness with my new love, enjoying the delicious fruit of love in our beautiful garden full of sunshine. This is the kind of life that life is supposed to be, this is the way of living that living is supposed to be, and this is the world that world is supposed to be. Everyone should be happy so long as we really desire happiness, because God has gifted us enough wisdom to find happiness under any circumstances. If you are not happy now, the only reason is that you are not determined enough yet to embrace happiness. The universe always lets us live the way we want and its invisible hand has such power that it can create all kinds of miracles to reward those who truly believe and desire happiness. Each step, each person, and each happening in my life has helped to pave my path to the light of happiness. And my strong desire for happiness has been rewarded. I strongly believe in the Law of Attraction and I am, myself, an example of such a great law that where there is a will there is a way and you get what you really want. This book also aims to transmit the light of happiness to those unhappy souls who are living in misery or lost in darkness. The unhappy souls can be those who are trapped in the swamps of failed marriage, or unsuitable jobs, who are tired physically and mentally because of overstress from chasing after money and fame, who fret over trifles, who are full of hatred and
