This is my story of when I suffered a heart attack on October 1st 2013 and what happened to me over the next ten weeks; the good people I met and the six coronary by-passes I received; it has all my worries, my fears and all the procedures I had to undertake during my journey through the three NHS hospitals that looked after me. Before I had my little event I considered myself to be reasonably healthy middle aged man with a good eating diet but the improvement to my health since I have left the NHS has been impressive which only goes to prove that I was not in a good place before. The story is told as I have remembered it, all the characters and stories are real but the sequence of events could be out of order. At the end of the book I have named four women who were important to me during my ordeal, there will always be a little corner of my heart that will be forever theirs and the reader should be able to match these women to some of the characters I have written about in the book.
