Introduction:This story is based on an interview with a Vietnamese woman. After the fall of Saigon (now known as Ho Chi Minh City) in 1975, she left home with hopes of a better life in the United States. She told me, 'Once you start your journey, never look back. Keep moving forward, no matter how many times you face adversity. Just regroup, remember your final goal, and focus on your dream. Never give up! It took me over 30 years to achieve success and reach my current position. Sometimes life is not easy for you, but success is always ahead, and it’s up to you to make it happen. I decided to visit the USA during my trip to Thailand over 30 years ago. That was the first dream that kept me going, but it was not easy. Once in the USA, I refocused and asked myself what my new dream was after arriving here. I was fortunate to meet someone who took me under her wing and taught me a profession. Under her guidance, I realized I wanted to be the best in that field. I became the best and grew the business with a little luck over the course of twenty-five years. Thirty years after my journey began, I owned five shops around Southern California, and they are all doing well. So, in conclusion, I want to tell everyone, no matter how often you fail or face adversities, stay on course and remember your final destination, your dream. If you dream big, you will reach it, even if you have to settle for a smaller dream or face setbacks. I’ve heard people say-Aim for the stars. If you fail, you’ll land on the moon.'
