Mama Blessing is a professional qualified Social Worker with 25 years of experience in practice and in management, as well as being a Qualified Practice Educator and Assessor having taught and mentored newly qualified social workers over many years. She is an educationist and possesses all the qualities of a True Authentic Leader and has made huge contributions to the organisations’ learning and workforce development. She is currently one of the Deputy Team Managers in a leading, thriving local authority where she is greatly appreciated, respected by senior management and staff within the local authority for her immense dedication, zeal, and passion towards the profession. She is a qualified and certified Level 7 Senior Executive Coach and Mentor specialising in leadership coaching, life coaching, business coaching and health coaching and has recently registered her own business as a coach. She leads the Action Learning Set within her team in enabling newly-qualified social workers and experienced social workers in achieving their goals and purpose within the profession. She recently received a Leadership Award from Dr Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei by the Boardroom Institute in Ghana for recognition towards her immense contribution to leadership and the community to the church Governance and Pastoral Leadership.Mama Blessing has widespread experience in Coaching and mentoring, Leadership training, addressing potential leaders both in the corporate world and the Body of Christ in achieving their destinies. Mama has said she could not have come this far in life without the help of the Holy Spirit. Mama’s aim is to raise leaders from all walks of life in the next generation by enabling people to achieve their purpose and goals as she believes from her favourite quote, 'I start with the premise that the function of leadership is to produce more leaders not more followers'- Ralph Nader She is a philanthropist, an author, property mogul, and also supports and engages in quite a number of charities in the United Kingdom and Ghana her country of birth. Mama is the founder of the Daughter of Zion Grace Ministries based in the United Kingdom and Ghana West Africa. Mama flows under a unique prophetic grace and healing anointing where she has had the privilege to minister to so many people, mainly in Europe and Ghana. God is using her to make a huge impact in the prophetic ministry, through ministration of the word and prayer. Her weekly media broadcast the Daughter of Zion Grace Ministry, has impacted so many people all over the world with great testimonies, helping Christians to live a victorious life. Whilst encompassing all of her achievements, Mama Blessing has always maintained that God is the centre of all things and that everything she does in life has been to glorify God and Christ revealed. Her favourite scriptures are Romans 3: 4 - Let God be true in her life and let every man be a liar and Philippians 4: 13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Mama Blessing Asanya’s ministration is always backed by the presence of the Holy Spirit in demonstrating signs and wonders as in the book of Acts. She is married to Papa Blessing, and they have three wonderful God-fearing children, adopted children and many grandchildren.
