Even though Alexia has self-published books that encourage people to do things from the heart and let them know that they are not the only ones that will overcome the things that the readers have experienced, her first launch into her career as a writer started in poetry (whether she knew it or not at the time). Her new book, My Journey Through Poetry, is a compilation of poems that have been birthed through some traumas, relationships, life, self-inflicted decisions that reaped some consequences, being in a creative writing class, and through inspiration by the Holy Ghost. As you, the reader, get to know the author through her poetry, may you, the reader, hear her heart and transparency through each word but you may also be encouraged to soar like an eagle through anything that comes your way.
