Bnei Machshavah Tovah was written by Rabbi Kalonymus Kalmish Shapira of Piaseczna in the early 1920s as a handbook for his most exemplary students, chassidim, of Piaseczno. The book, or pamphlet, charts a course for the members of the group to follow in their quest to achieve closeness to God. The aim of the group was to perceive God and sense His presence everywhere, such that the individual 'sees that he is in God’s garden, before His Throne of glory-that is the purpose of our society.'The aim of this Jewish Study Journal is to use it in conjunction with Rabbi Shapira’s book, Bnei Machshavah Tovah. * Summarize the Rebbe’s profound insights* Add your own thoughts, comments and questions* Document your experiences as you implement the spiritual practices outlined by the Rebbe.* Use the journaling pages as an opportunity to talk to God, and listen in return for greater spiritual connection to the Creator.* Keep the journal on the bookshelf along with the Rebbe’s text so that you can return to it at any time in the future, to continue your journey, review your progress, and/or add greater insights.**Please note that this is not the actual manuscript of R’Shapira, but a lined notebook that accompanies the manuscript that you are using for study.
