Harminder Nagi is a poet of Indian origin, now living in England for over four decades. He is a design engineer by profession. His passion for poetry started just over couple of years ago. A beatific instance happened in his life when he met his long lost relative unexpectedly. The incident made him so happy that he wrote the first poem that night to express his joy. He has developed a vivid and light hearted style, often drawing inspiration from everyday life. His poems range from jovial and humorous to childhood melancholy to birdwatching and nature. With a gift of versatility, he has written poems on many themes. He is the author of three books: 'Wish I had a magic Carpet', 'Continents Connect' and 'Journey Through My Thoughts'.Harminder takes great pride in sharing stage with Roger McGough, Henry Normal and Cleo Asabre-Holt. at the Nottingham Poetry Festival in 2019. He was also one of the guest poets taking part of Henry Normal’s Poetry Hour Epic Tour in 2020. He is an active member of 'Kavya Rang' and Allpoetry.com poetry clubs. The majority of the poems in this book were written for the contests held at the Allpoetry.com during Covid-19 lockdown and have won virtual trophies.
