Tess was drawn into an online romance when she met a man that made her feel everything she ever wanted to feel inside. She felt loved, desired, interesting, wanted and she felt alive for the very first time in a long time. After sending $20,000.00 to her online love, she discovers the man who claims to love her is a scammer, one who is involved with a network of scammers. Tess continues to lead the scammers on, searching for answers and after receiving a large sum of money deposited into her bank account, she goes to the authorities and passes any information she learns about them. The network of scammers, now upset that their money is delayed, begin to harass Tess, wanting their money back.Tess tells her story through emails sent back and forth over the months, allowing readers an inside look at how the scammers sought her out and used Tess’s vulnerabilities. Tess, embarrassed and ashamed for falling into their scheme decides to open herself up; revealing her most secret thoughts and desires that she shared with whom she thought was the man of her dreams. Hoping to show others how easy it is to be drawn into the words that are written, all in the hopes of love by revealing to readers how and what these scammers write in their emails and shares what to watch out for if you are doing any online dating or if you know of someone who is. Tess wrote this book in hopes that she could help those who fall prey to scammers and to let others know, they are not alone; it is ok to speak up and share your story, it’s time to stop these scammers.
