Parley’s not so happy journey of a life, navigating his Mothers physical and mental abuse. The things that were said and done to him by his mother the Mother he wanted to love but never quite knew how, drove him to become an insecure and angry young man. The anger and confusion he felt towards his Mother led him down a rode of self-abuse, verbal, mental, and physical abuse to those who tried to reach out to help him. To escape the past that haunts him he turns to purging to rid himself of his demons only to realize the purging has takin a life of its own. The Deed.Parley Caldwell has lived in Fayette Alabama for the past seven years with his wonderful wife Delois (Lolobug) and their constantly talking Conure Jade. He is a kid at heart and loves playing racquetball, pickleball and enjoys his time on his bike. He also tries his hand at painting and playing the guitar when the mood hits him. One of his greatest joys in life are his children, grandchildren, and weekend trips to quiet Bed and Breakfast in small towns. Inherited Memories a Kentucky Childhood was Parley’s first book written in 2012. It is a collection of his Dad’s stories and conversations with his brother Paul about growing up poor but loved in the hollers of Kentucky. Parley hopes to one day publish a book of poems when the time and money presents itself.
