My Bare Naked Truth One Butterfly at a Time

As the morning birds began to sing, she could hear the sound of mini drums from the wood peckers tapping on the trees and the shuffling of her family stirring around downstairs. She knew it was time to get up. The people in her life were counting on her as they usually did every morning. Her mornings before used be filled with anticipation for the day’s agenda. Everyone looked forward to a day planned full of excitement, new adventures and fun memories to be made not to mention the endless conversations about anything and everything. Most mornings everyone would wake up rested from a goodnights sleep, calm and ready to tackle the day together but that hasn’t been the case in years. Since the traumatic events and emotional stress that plagued the family over the past years, some were never seemed affected, some have developed and matured from them; while others are still fighting their demons. She is one that is still fighting her demons. Her family now wakes up with their own agendas for the day. Kids were growing up, making their own choices, having their own plans for the day, and figuring their own direction in life which is healthy and natural. She and her husband were adjusting to the kids growing up and the many changes from their own life situations. Some of the changes were starting to come between them which left her puzzled and confused at times, while other changes helped them fully grow. Life was changing and moving around her and she was standing still. Waking up from nightmares only to begin her mornings with a reluctant fear of anxiety because she knew when her feet it the floor the roller coaster from hell and the merry go round of doubt and fear was about to start. The woman upstairs is me. My story must be told for my daughter I never had and anyone else who might share similar demons or changes that continue to arise in life. I know I am not alone with what I have gone through or about to face. So for me I must be express my story in a way that I find healing and understanding from my past. From my sad beginnings you will hear my truth only to prove how I have turned my negative situations to positive ones through countless years of peeling off multiple layers of myself to reveal the amazing woman I am. If you are at a place in life where you’re past is tormenting your present and standing in your way to a better life, I encourage you to her my story.
