In this book, Mary shares poems and vintage family photos visiting her favorite memories of time spent with her maternal grandparents, Pete and Mary Masciantonio, at their farm in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, USA. Mary’s grandmother came to America from Italy as a toddler one New Year’s Eve, and her grandfather Pete came to America from Italy as a teenager. They met in Wisconsin, married, and moved to Oklahoma where all their dreams came true. Anyone who lovingly remembers their childhood spent with family will enjoy this nostalgic embrace of the past.
