Bob has served in ministry for over 60 years, a rich journey of following Jesus. Each daily Musings is drawn from his journey of faith and Bible study. Bob and his wife Connie led a fifteen-year citywide prayer ministry for regional revival. That’s when Bob began writing Monday Musings. This is an edited daily devotional from those years. Bob has served in a variety of ministries including Counseling/Mentoring, Lead Pastor, Youth for Christ, and as campus pastor at Taylor University.Humor: 'I felt like my body had become totally out of shape, so I got my doctor’s permission to join an aerobics class. I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour. By the time I got my leotards on, the class was over.' Wisdom: 'Psalm 1 says the key to knowing God is to delight in His Word. How should we use the Word? Meditate on it long and hard . . . hide it in our hearts by reading and memorizing it until it shapes our loves, hopes, and imagination' (Psa. 119:15-16).Musing: 'Every great athlete and every winning team has at least one coach if not many of them. It’s pretty much impossible to be highly ranked, or outstanding in a sport, without good coaching. Consider the most important contest that we will ever have. It’s where we experience the agony of defeat, the thrill of victory, and sometimes everything in between. It’s life. Who will coach us? Will we thrive?' (Heb. 13:5).
