There are moments when we lose our confidence and feel ready to give up on our dreams. I feel blessed that my parents never forced me to follow a particular path. Their unconditional love and support gave me the space to find my own.Since I am unable to walk, I had to think of something I could do from home. Watching my father, a writer, inspired me. I wanted to be like him. I wrote many stories, but my lack of confidence stopped me from sharing them with anyone. In fact, I deleted them all.One day, feeling sad and bored, I don’t know how - but suddenly, I felt a spark of confidence. That was the day I decided to start writing poems.When I showed them to my father, he read them aloud. I never imagined he would be so proud and happy. Everyone around me encouraged me to continue, saying, 'Keep it up!'Their support gave me the courage to compile this book. I named my very first poem 'Musafir' - The Traveller.I truly hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.
