Muhammad wants to do the right thing but helping a frightened ginger cat is harder than he expected. When Muhammad and his younger brother Abdullah discover that Rex has taken over the neighbourhood treehouse and is treating a cat unkindly, Muhammad decides he cannot simply walk away. His first plans do not go as expected, but with faith, courage, determination and Abdullah’s humorous support, he keeps trying. To save the cat and return the treehouse to the local children, Muhammad must learn from his mistakes, stand up calmly for what is right and ask others to work together. Along the way, the brothers discover that kindness takes courage, truthful plans are better than clever disguises, and giving up is not the answer.Filled with warm watercolour illustrations, gentle Islamic values, sibling humour and an adventurous rescue, Muhammad and the Treehouse Rescue is an uplifting story about kindness to animals, confidence, perseverance, teamwork and trusting Allah.A heart-warming read for Muslim children and families who enjoy meaningful stories with laughter, positive role models and valuable life lessons.
