Cet ouvrage est le résultat d’une analyse des formes de participation politique des mouvements sociaux au cours des dernières décennies. Il s’agit de montrer les stratégies de résistance et de mobilisation des habitants du quartier de Jurunas, qui a connu une longue histoire de grandes mobilisations populaires et qui, ces dernières années, a connu des changements dans ses formes d’organisation. Une question centrale s’est alors posée : la diminution des mobilisations populaires signifie-t-elle leur affaiblissement ? Ou bien ont-elles subi des transformations sans pour autant cesser de chercher des moyens de lutter ? Tout au long de cette lecture, ces questions seront largement discutées.
