The catchwords of this work are altruism and pro-social behaviour. With the help of essential definitions from the technical literature the topic of help behaviour is discussed. Conditions and factors of influence are compiled with the help of this literature. Then hypotheses are provided which are confirmed or disproved with the help of the project „Ageing in Kleinmünchen'. Within this project 203 citizens were questioned about living in Kleinmünchen, older people in the family, contact with older town citizens, support of older people and personal data. The aim of this paper is to investigate which basic conditions and factors of influence must be given for people help to unselfishly help others.
