Life is what you put into it...you get back what you reap....and I believe in Karma. If you go the extra distance to treat fellow human beings with the respect they deserve.... the rewards will come back two-fold. Vice versa. Treat people...the earth and her environment and wildlife and domesticated life unfavorable.... you will reap the wrath of your Undoing’s way worse even than the initial travesty you delivered.Step lightly in this world...admire the flowers, the bees...the sun or the snow. Say something nice to a stranger .... don’t wait until it’s too late to tell family members or friends how much you care. Be true to yourself and follow your passions...your dreams.... but don’t hurt anyone along the journey to get there. You will get far with a good attitude.... derailed with less than good intentions. Be who you are...not something...someone you admire. you stand alone as an inspiration to many of us as you are without taking on a false persona ...don’t let us down...it may affect our own dreams because we looked up to you .... let’s help one another reach our goals and potential. We can all prosper through the connection of love...respect...empathy and a little kindness goes a long way. And love and be kind to Nature and Wildlife for truly when they are gone, so are we!!!!For all that went extinct, the best kept secret of Existence is:A part of YOU went with it, and are leaving still . . .MOTHER-LESS EARTH, VOL V, a sequel in the series (we have a MOTHER-LESS EARTH, VOL. I, II, III and IV, look for them on Lulu.com, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other venues), are Poems and Graphics that Eden Hundsdoerfer and I have lovingly put together about the glory of nature; poems about the abuse of our environment, wildlife and natural resources, will fill these pages. ~ Susan Joyner-Stumpf, with Prolific Nature Poetess, Eden Hundsdoerfer

    Jennifer Chrystie
‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....

  • The Truth about A
    Maureen O'Shaughnessy
In his interpretation of Antigone, Seamus Heaney says, ‘Nobody can be sure they are always right.’ Maureen O’Shaughnessy’s The Truth about A further attends to this idea through various readings of the myth as portrayed by Sophocles, Brecht, Ted Hughes, Anne Carson and, most particularly, Euripides.
