In times of turmoil, when tensions between prisoners and guards threatened to ignite into violence, Mother Antonia stood as a beacon of peace and reconciliation, bridging the divide with her compassionate presence. She took care of the family members of prisoners and the guards’ family members. Mother Antonia was one such luminary, living a life that can only be described as heroic.
