More Rhymes For Our Times continues on an uplifting voyage, mixing quirky insights into the human condition with thoughtful consideration of topics including family, faith and life itself. Humour & human interest abound in a collection of highly original, heart-warming poems, including sonnets, nonets & haiku, that can be enjoyed by all the family.Author Bio:Benjamin spent his formative years in Sussex, prior to moving to Cornwall, where he was educated. He still has a deep affection for Wales, having lived there throughout his early adult life, although he now resides on the Isle of Lewis, off the north-west coast of Scotland. Even though he considers poetry to be more of a hobby than an occupation, it is one Benjamin hopes will bring joy and encouragement to the lives of his readers!Previous Work:More Rhymes For Our Times is Benjamin’s third poetry book, following a previous collection of poems, ’Just a Plain Old Joe’, and the prequel to this volume, simply called Rhymes for our Times. Benjamin has also published a Lenten devotional, ’Calvary Contemplations’, in addition to a series entitled ’Spiritual Reflections: 100 Bible Verses with Real-life Applications’.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
