Moortje is een komisch toneelstuk geschreven door Gerbrand Adriaensz Bredero en uitgegeven in 1638. Het verhaal speelt zich af in Amsterdam en gaat over de avonturen van Moortje, een zwarte slaaf die in dienst is bij een rijke koopman genaamd Jacob. Moortje wordt verliefd op een jonge vrouw genaamd Klaartje, die ook in dienst is bij Jacob. Om haar te kunnen krijgen, volgt hij het voorbeeld van de Eunuch Terentius uit de Bijbel en laat hij zich castreren. Het verhaal is een satire op de Amsterdamse samenleving uit die tijd en bevat veel humor en ironie.
