MON IDENTITÉ, MA CULTURERésumé du livreCe livre a pour but de démontrer aux élèves, l’importance de la culture dans la formation de l’identité. Il responsabilise l’élève face à son identité et à sa culture. On ne peut faire l’identité d’une personne, mais on peut l’accompagner dans la quête d’identité et dans la découverte de ses repères culturels. Faire partie de ce projet a permis à plusieurs élèves, de reconnaitre l’influence de leurs cultures d’origine ou celles de leurs parents, l’influence de la culture canadienne et de surcroît l’influence de la culture franco-ontarienne dans leur agir, leur être et leur devenir : C’est la prise de conscience. Faire de la recherche pour décrire sa culture, son identité : C’est la prise de position. Ecrire un poème qui décrit l’expression du moi, permet à l’élève de s’afficher, de communiquer en français sa culture et de laisser des traces : C’est la prise en charge. Faire participer les membres du personnel au projet avait pour but d’atteindre le fondement de la congruence pédagogique et de la manifestation du leadership émergent. Enfin par ce projet, j’ai voulu susciter en mes élèves, le plaisir d’écrire à partir de leurs vécus. Car ne dit-on pas que la réussite scolaire a deux volets : La construction de savoir + la construction identitaire = la construction de sens au quotidien.
