In a traditionalist community where customs flatten individual dreams, Aliya, a sharp-witted teenager, finds herself the subject of an arranged marriage. Torn from her carefree world to take on the role of wife, she becomes a prisoner of a world she cannot control and will be confronted with an oppressive and incomprehensible daily life. Her dreams are shattered by the indifference of a husband she has never had the opportunity to know and the expectations of a society that refuses to hear her tearful cry. In the darkness of a haunted house, she feels observed, oppressed, and suffocated by the presence of evil spirits. As madness stalks her, she sinks into a pit of loneliness and suffering. She decides, at the urging of her mother, to fight against these invisible forces that traumatize her. Amidst the twists and turns of deep psychological wounds, they both embark on a desperate quest to break these chains and restore their stolen freedom. Through this poignant story, told with all the nuances of the despair that blinded Aliya, the author firmly pronounces a 'stop' to the cruel subjugations that drive women to commit evil deeds and descend into madness.
