Momma’s Lemonade uses the proverbial expression, when life gives you lemons, and compares it to co-parenting. In the story, Avery has a hard time rolling the lemons to make the lemonade. His mother uses that as a lesson to teach him when things are hard, we don’t give up. She explains to him that sometimes co-parenting is hard, but in the end, Avery will be their sweet reward just as the lemonade will be his, once he gets past rolling the lemons of course.
