'Collect moments, not things Write stories the heart brings Connect deeply with another Make a moment last forever'Life is a collection of moments, sometimes big, mostly small, that linger in our soul. This compilation of poetry, prose, short and bite-sized stories focuses on these moments birthed by connections that the author has encountered in her life. May these moments spark something within that will make you look back at your own moments and appreciate them for what they have given you - may it be a lesson, joy, love or even pain. Every little moment is special, all you need is to see its magic.GK Limcangco is a Vancouver-based Filipino Canadian writer whose passion and love for the written word got her to self-publish a poetry book in 2018 called 'Empty Full'. She became a published writer when she worked as an Editorial Assistant for one of the leading men’s magazines in the Philippines in 2005. Moving to Canada in 2005, she became one of the staff writers for Living Today, a Filipino Canadian lifestyle magazine for several years. She also wrote for various online publications based in the Philippines, Canada, and the US, mostly writing live music reviews and album reviews for Vancouver Weekly and SSG Music, a Seattle-based music publication.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
