The author occasionally code-switches (English/Spanish) and includes a section on Journaling with Scripture and reflection.About the AuthorMary Olivia Patiño has led spiritual retreats and workshops for many years. She facilitates what she believes to be the only faith-based writing group, Writing with Angels, in the San Antonio Archdiocese and leads creative writing workshops. She has a Masters in Theological Studies from the Oblate School of Theology, San Antonio, Texas. Past work experience includes: Oblate School of Theology, the Archdiocese of San Antonio, and Our Lady of the Lake University. She has one daughter, a son-in-law, and two grandsons. Her son, Steven George Patiño, died in 1996. She has provided scholarships in his memory for youth entering college.The second in the series (in Spanish) will reflect her immersion experiences in Latin America.
