Moments in EternityOur lives are filled with moments, thousands of moments; some happy and joyous, some difficult and painful. When we reach eternity we will realize they were indeed mere moments. How we spend each moment now will ultimately determine how we spend eternity. Many of the moments we travel through are occurrences over which we have no control. On the other hand, many of life’s moments are determined by choices we make. We need to make good choices. There’s no better choice to prepare for life’s moments than to include devotions in our Christian walk. Time spent in study and prayer is vital for our Christian life yet it is sometimes the most neglected. Without a guide, we often lack the discipline to maintain daily study. The excuse is usually time related. Our lives are so full of ’moments’ we don’t want to miss, or ’moments’ that hit us like a brick wall.Moments in Eternity makes it easier to develop a habit of spending quality time with God. As the title suggests, it only takes a few moments to complete each reading. However, it’s likely that one would be encouraged to spend more time with God after spending a few moments with this book.A moment with the AuthorCissandra Gray Ball is employed as a class room assistant for special needs children. And is a freelance writer of poetry and greeting cards. She is a member of First Christian Church in Greensburg, Pennsylvania where she is very active in the Christian Women’s Fellowship group, teaches Sunday school and serves on various other committees. Besides writing and reading, Cissandra enjoys crafts, cooking and decorating. Most of all she enjoys spending 'Moments' with God, and her family.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
