Il caricamento manuale è una delle attività principali e consuma una buona quantità di tempo nella miniera di carbone. Con la formulazione del modello matematico, è stato possibile migliorare l’attuale metodo di caricamento manuale che può risparmiare energia umana oltre ad aumentare la produttività e ridurre il tempo richiesto. Alcune delle variabili utilizzate per formulare questo modello sono (1) l’ambiente dell’area di lavoro, come l’illuminazione, la temperatura ambiente e la circolazione dell’aria intorno alla postazione di lavoro della miniera di carbone per il caricamento manuale, (2) i dati antropometrici, che includono gli aspetti ergonomici e (3) gli strumenti utilizzati dal minatore per l’operazione di caricamento manuale, che includono le dimensioni geometriche dell’utensile; sulla base dei dati raccolti di queste variabili, viene formulato un modello matematico.
