Longtemps marginalisé au profit des cultures de rentes, le secteur vivrier occupe désormais une place de choix dans l’agriculture ivoirienne. En effet, ce secteur constitue le fer de lance des politiques agricoles menée par l’Etat depuis plusieurs décennies en vue de garantir la sécurité alimentaire, face un accroissement trop rapide de la population. Nonobstant le fait que les mesures entreprises par l’Etat ont permis d’améliorer considérablement l’agriculture vivrière, les difficultés de financement persistent et freinent l’investissement dans ce secteur à très forte valeur ajoutée. Ainsi pour lever cette contrainte imposée par le système financier des entreprises agricole de promotion de l’investissement dans le vivrier ont vu le jour. Leur modèle de financement, bien que présentant certaines limites, nous parait être innovant. Nous avons donc trouvé opportun, dans le cadre de notre projet professionnel, de nous en inspirer pour la mise en place de la Société Financière de Développement de l’Agriculture Vivrière : SOFIDAV. La question du mode financement approprié nécessaire au démarrage de l’activité demeure la préoccupation majeure du projet.
